Just hear me out.  If you're going through a divorce, chances are Kanye West is not relatable, and he damn sure is not top of mind when you think about divorce. If your first thought is, “What the hell does Kanye West have to do with me?” that is exactly why you need to watch this. Even men who reach insane levels of money, power, fame and influence can still lose control of themselves, lose their marriage, damage their relationships with their kids and blow up the life they spent decades building.
 

I don’t particularly like Kanye West. My son recommended I watch this and told me to keep an open mind because he thought there was more relevance here than I was giving it credit for. He was right. I was wrong—so wrong my ass made a video about it. Kanye is relatable not because of his money or fame, but because when divorce hit him, he reacted the way a lot of men react: hurt, angry, desperate to regain control and without the right people around him to tell him the truth before he made everything worse.

Money, fame, power and expensive lawyers do not stop a man from panicking, reacting emotionally and making decisions that destroy his own position. When you are hurt, angry and trying to force control back into a situation you no longer control, you can still lose money, damage your relationship with your kids and turn a hard divorce into a disaster.
